All sanctions for USTA events are suspended through June 30, 2020

As you know, USTA’s Board of Directors acted last month to protect the health and wellbeing of athletes, parents, coaches, judges, volunteers and the public by suspending all sanctions and cancelling all events scheduled through June 30, as well as the #2020Nationals, scheduled for July 14-18 in Stockton, California.

  • Sanction fees will be credited to next season.
  • USTA has refunded all PreTrials and National entry fees.
  • Remember to cancel your National hotel reservations to avoid penalties.

USTA is hard at work supporting our members during this difficult time. Athletes are encouraged to watch “USTA Twirling Tutorials,” featuring past and present National Champions. They are shared on USTA’s Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channels Monday through Saturday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, coaches are encouraged to watch “USTA Presents,” featuring veteran coaches sharing their ideas for managing your twirling business during the COVID-19 outbreak.

USTA has also established a task force to lead us through this crisis and prepare for an outstanding season in 2020-21. Watch for information on special events that will take place through the spring and summer and continue into next season!

The Board sincerely appreciates all of the feedback and communications we’ve received. We have taken all of it to heart and have endeavored to make the best decision for all of our members. We will continue to provide as much information and guidance as we can. This includes answering questions submitted by our members at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/ustwirling, where you can submit any questions you may have for us.

In the meantime, please stay safe, stay healthy, and take care of yourselves. Together, we will get through this and emerge stronger than ever.
